Suur Tõll, a known Estonian mythical character (representing Kalev’s dark chocolate with whole roasted hazelnuts), was added next to the Kalev’s epos chocolate series. To promote the product, we wrote a special poem for the TVC. The poem follows old and strict traditional form rules and tells a folk tale of how Suur Tõll saved fishermen and gave them hazelnuts. Then we hand drew all the illustrations and animated them. All this wrapped with a specially created folk style track that incorporates Estonian traditional music instruments.
