Christmas is creative agencies' golden reason to surprise theirclients with something absolutely routine-free – after all, theclients are people like us and need this holiday time to give TGs and ROIs a break for a change. At 2016 we saluted 35 of our clients with a personal message. We did that via one of the oldest advertising mediums in the world – personal ads. The ads appeared during 5 days in 5 different county newspapers (Sakala, Virumaa Teataja, Valgamaalane, Pärnu Postimees, Järva Teataja). Fresh newspaper was delivered by a courier and it was followed by an anonymous SMS directing the recipient to a specific column of the newspaper. Client feedback was unanimous – overwhelmingly positive (“What you did today was AWESOME!”; “The gem of 2016!”; “Totally impressed!!” etc).
